Space Situational Awareness (SSA): AN Essential Strategic Requirement
General Usage of space by own forces and its denial to adversary has grown to become essential for modern militaries. Today, space is increasingly being viewed as enabler for conduct of own operations and the 'Achilles heel' which if targeted can cripple adversary's war waging efforts1. In order to preserve their rights to use space, militaries of the world need to be watchful of events inspace. Situational awareness of space is thus an increasingly felt necessity for operations in space and on ground.
Information War Waged by China against India
In May 2020 the Indian media covered news of large scale Chinese intrusion in Ladakh1. This was followed by a series of articles by the mainstream media about how the current government had failed to safeguard the territorial integrity of the nation2. By the time the government started countering the flak, adverse public opinion was building up in India. Then on 15-16 June 2020 the Galwan incident took place at Patrolling Point 14.
How is Suga Crafting Japan’s Policies towards Russia?
After Yoshihide Suga became Japan’s Prime Minister following the sudden resignation of Prime Minister Abe Shinzo with little experience in foreign diplomacy, questions were raised if he would be competent to handle Japan’s foreign relations. Similarly, global politics and the economy have also gone through drastic changes.

Myanmar Round Up: November 2020
The month marked a significant breakthrough in thedemocratic transition process of Myanmar. The third general elections were conducted since the initiation of political reforms in 2010. The National League for Democracy (NLD) party led by Daw Aung San Suu Kyi registered a decisive victory, winning 396 of the 498 seats in the bicameral parliament (258 seats in the lower house and 138 seats in the upper house), and defeating the military-backed Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP).
