Sheikh Hasina Visit to India: Fostering Development, Connectivity and Security
India and Bangladesh are emerging economies with a combined GDP of 3000 US billion dollars (2018).1 These two big economies have forged a very strong relationship in recent years and the ties between both the countries have been on an upswing in the last decade. India and Bangladesh are one of the closest neighbours in the South Asia region and there has been regular high-level visit between both the countries. Prime Ministers of both the countries met each other on the sidelines of 74th United Nation General Assembly (UNGA) in September.

Narendra Modi and the President of China, Mr. Xi Jinping, meeting in Mahabalipuram exchanged mechanism for shaping future, unveiling dreams, deepening and strengthening relations, forging partnerships, establishing peace and prosperity with a collective approach. They have opened fresh avenues of cooperation, friendship and harmony following the ideals of life passed on to us by the sages looking at the world as one family and wishing well being for all. Radical Islam in the Maldives: Hotbed for al-Qa’ida and Islamic State
In his address at the Indian Ocean Conference (IOC) in Male city, the Republic of Maldives (hereafter Maldives) on 04 September 20191, former Maldivian President—Mohamed Nasheed highlighted concerns over the emerging threat posed by radical Islamist group in the Maldives. He called it the biggest challenge faced by nations spanning over the Indian Ocean Region (IOR).
अस्थायी अनुच्छेद 370 और ज़बरन लाए गए अनुच्छेद 35ए का ख़ात्मा

The Chennai Connect in Sino Indian Relations: Assessing the Second India-China informal Summit at Mamallapuram, 11-12 October 2019
The optics of the second Sino-Indian informal summit held at the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) World Heritage site Mamallapuram in Tamil Nadu was great. Chinese President Xi was given a warm welcome by Prime Minister Modi and taken on a tour of the stunning rock cut 7th century shore temples of Mamallapuram, depicting the scenes from the Mahabharat. Modi also presented President Xi a Kanjeevaram silk cloth bearing Xi’s portrait. President Xi said that he was ‘overwhelmed’ by the warmth and hospitality of the host.
