Kota Mallikarjuna Gupta was a research associate (2021- 2022) with the China cluster at the VIF. His interests lie in China – US relations, Chinese Military, Chinese Economy and Chinese Foreign Policy issues and the area focus is the Indo-Pacific region. He is pursuing his doctorate from the Centre for East Asian Studies, SIS in JNU. His MPhil dissertation examined China –US multilateral relations focused on G-20 and East Asia Summit. He holds masters degree in Peace Building and Conflict Analysis from Jamia Millia Islamia. He has previous experience of working with the Institute for Conflict Management (ICM) and Thomson Reuters.
