On September 9, the Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF) organized a Vimarsh on 'The Story of Indian Warfare' by Col. Ajay Singh (Retd). He is the recipient of the Rabindranath Tagore International Award for Art and Literature 2021 and the Bharat Literary Award 2023.

Vimarsh on Life, Death and the Ashtavakra Gita

On 13th August 2024, Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF) organized a Vimarsh discussing the book "Life, Death and the Ashtavakra Gita," co-authored by Dr Bibek Debroy and Hindol Sengupta. Dr Bibek Debroy is a renowned Indian economist and a scholar who has translated the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and the Puranas from Sanskrit into English.

On 5th August 2024, Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF) organised a Vimarsh on ‘The Indic Religious Tradition: An Outline’ by Prof. Arvind Sharma, Birks Professor of Comparative Religion in the School of Religious Studies at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and formerly part of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). Prof. Sharma has also taught at various universities in the United States (Northeastern, Boston, Temple, Harvard), Australia (Queensland, Sydney), and India (Nalanda).

On 17th June 2024, Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF) organised a Vimarsh lecture on ‘Religion, Dharma and the Indic Religious Tradition’ by Prof. Arvind Sharma. Prof. Sharma, formerly of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), is the Birks Professor of Comparative Religion in the School of Religious Studies at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

Vimarsh on Practical Gaṇita vs Religious Mathematics

On 14th September 2023, Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF) organised a Vimarsh on the topic “Practical Gaṇita vs Religious Mathematics" by Prof. C.K Raju. Prof Raju is PhD from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata and was a member of the C-DAC team that built the first Indian Super Computer in the 1980s. He has taught and researched mathematics and published several books.

The panel discussion was aimed to highlight the issue of various forces hindering Indian portrayal at a global level, and what could be ways to counter such forces.
