Book Release: “Black Money and Tax Havens”, authored by Professor R Vaidyanathan

On 3 November 2017, the Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF), New Delhi, hosted the launch of Professor R Vaidyanathan’s latest book titled ‘Black Money and Tax Havens’. Professor R Vaidyanathan is Dean of Centre for Economic Studies at the VIF and a former professor of Finance at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He is well known for his extensive works on finance, especially in banking, insurance and capital markets.

Round Table Discussion on the Union Budget - 2017-18

Following the presentation of NDA-led government’s’ fourth consecutive budget on 01 February 2017, the VIF assembled a high-powered panel, comprising India’s best-known economists - Mr. Arvind Panagariya, Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog and Dr. Bimal Jalan, among others -to share their thoughts on the budget and its long term impact for the economy of India.
