Kazakhstan and Maldives have signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of technology. The agreement was signed by the State Minister of Home Affairs Dr. Mohamed Kinanath on behalf of Maldives. Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Zhaslan Madiyev signed on behalf of Kazakhstan. Earlier this week, Commissioner of Police Ali Shujau said Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be introduced into the police work to prevent crimes. Foreign Minister Moosa Zameer called on the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Septemebr 4. The meeting was held in Abu Dhabi yesterday during his ongoing official visit to the UAE. During the meeting, Zameer formally delivered a letter from President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu addressed to the President of the UAE Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The Foreign Ministry said both ministers discussed ways to deepen the strong bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries. The two Indian military helicopters stationed in the Maldives have resumed carrying patients. Adhadhu learned that the helicopter stationed in Laamu Kadhdhoo transported a patient on September 5. The helicopter travelled from Kadhdhoo to Gaaf Alif Kooddoo and transported a patient from Kooddoo to Velana International Airport (VIA). Witnesses confirmed that the helicopter landed at the VIA.
