Running Out of Talk Time
The next three weeks will be marked by a flurry of India-Pakistan exchanges in Islamabad. The announced sanctions target Iran’s nuclear and missile programmes, as well as entities, banks and individuals involved in these programmes, besides banning certain categories of military supplies. The energy sector has been excluded, but the US may unilaterally impose some additional restrictions in this area.
Glossing Over Rajiv’s Role

While a host of Congress leaders, including senior Ministers in the Manmohan Singh Government, and party functionaries have come in the media’s line of fire, the real big story is the possible involvement of Rajiv Gandhi in the release of Union Carbide Corporation’s then chairman Warren Anderson.
