Dr Amiya Chandra is a former Indian Trade Service officer (1989 batch) who served across key ministries including Commerce, PMO, and Textiles. As Development Commissioner of Kandla and Mundra SEZs, he oversaw large-scale export and trade operations. Additionally, he played a strategic role in negotiating Joint Commissions and international agreements during his tenure in various ministries. An author of acclaimed works on international trade, smart cities, and archaeology, Dr. Chandra is also a frequent speaker at top business schools, known for his insights on global markets and smart business strategies.
