Air Chief Marshal Shashindra Pal Tyagi was the 20th Chief of Air Staff of the Indian Air Force (2004-07). Previously, he had the distinction of commanding the three Air Commands -- Central, South Western and Western Air Command. He excelled himself during the 1965 and 1971 wars. He also served as the Defence attaché at the Indian Consulate in Saudi Arabia; Director Operations (Air Defence), ACAS (Intelligence) and ACAS (Ops). Post retirement, ACM Tyagi delivers talks on defence and security related issues, such as information security management.
